Coding Services

Fee includes any appeals that may need to be made to the insurance carries if charges are denied.

We all know quality coders are hard to find, so send your records to the experienced coders at EBS. We can create coding sheets, or even do your charge entry for your billing company. From levels of service to complex surgeries, EBS will communicate your services to the insurance carriers and take full responsibility for coding choices in the case of audit or appeals. EBS will stand by all coding until the service is reimbursed properly. EBS carries full professional liability insurance.

Physician Documentation Seminars/Webinars

$700/workshop for up to 4hrs

Based on your specialty, these workshops include instruction on levels of evaluation & management services, as well as what is required in specialty operative reports. A chart audit is included in this service so we may instruct the physicians on their own documentation habits.

$700/workshop for up to 4 hours

Based on your specialty, these workshops include instruction on auditing levels of evaluation & management services, as well as review of all proven billing strategies. A review of EOB denials is included in this service so we may instruct the billers on issues they may be having with the carriers.

Includes formal report and teleconference with providers and/or coders.

Payer Contract Negotiations

EBS will review contracts, chosen by you, for review of fees and payer levels of reimbursement. EBS can help you negotiate payments levels that are more appropriate to market standards than the cookie-cutter contracts that are offered.

Compliance Programs

Price is per practice site

$8000/year

Designed specifically for your practice, our formal compliance programs include a written manual, formation of a compliance committee, two training classes throughout the year on billing compliance and any update to programs that are mandated by the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Comprehensive Billing Packages

EBS can provide hardware and billing software for the management of all your accounts receivable. We will provide patient phone lines, all qualified billing personnel and do all follow the insurance carriers for delayed or denied claims. We will send monthly statement all accounts owed by patients and age these accounts until they are turned over to a collection agency of your choice. If desired, we can provide contract negotiations.

Fee: This will be based on a percentage of collection. The rate is 8%-10% based on your needs. If we provide on-site hardware, or perhaps do your contract negotiations, that will increase the percentage rate.
